I'm a 23 year old college student at Texas Woman's University majoring in Mathematics with an education minor. I will be beginning my experiences as a math teacher this spring in a 7th grade classroom in Lewisville ISD. Beginning January 23rd, I will be student teaching full time until May 4th. I will be graduating with my Bachelor's the following weekend.
I wanted to create this blog to reflect upon my experiences as a future educator working in the public school system and to document my observations of young people's ideas and perceptions about learning, math, the world, and themselves.
